Software Engineer – Softwaredevelopment in the context of tribology solutions  (Python, …) (m/w/d)

Your tasks: 

• Participation in the digitalization of the product life cycle of our lubricants
• Independent development of software to support internal and external processes
• Development of requirement catalogues and processes with internal and external users
• Rapid prototyping in existing environments, also for IoT applications and sensor systems
• Further development of existing technical prototypes
• Support in the automation of our production facilities
• Expansion and scaling of existing systems
• Integration of self-developed systems and third-party systems (ERP, CRM)
• Independed project management as well as participation in team projects 
• Development of technology strategies for individual modules and our online infrastructure

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering or relevant subject area
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Django, Pandas, Dash and React is a plus
• Unit and end-to-end testing experience preferred
• Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g. Jenkins) is advantageous
• First experience in the area of IoT-solutions in an industry environment would be a plus
• Interest in prototyping with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266 and sensors
• Technical creativity
• Experience with Linux environments and Apache servers
• Reliable, organized and systematic approach to tasks
• Further development potential and interest
• Very good command of spoken and written English
