Setral - competence and creativity since 1969
Originally founded by Jean-Lêon Spehner, Jean-Pierre
Leprê and Guy Grospêtre in Strasbourg/France, Setral has been dealing
from the very beginning with the decisive component for smooth production processes:
The high-performance lubricant.
In 1985 Karl-Heinz Hensel took over the management
and initiated a dynamic period of growth by using new production methods and
consequently advancing and improving the product range.
A fire in the production
facilities at Strasbourg necessitated the erection of new production facilities
at Romanswiller in the years 1988-1990.
In the following years these production
and storage facilities have been expanded and the storage capacities enlarged.
At the same time the research and development activities were intensified in
the nineties. Testing facilities and the institutionalisation of new technologies
accompanied the dynamic quality growth during the last decade.
